Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of 27.04.2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and on amendments and supplements to certain laws.

The protection of personal data is very important to us. We respect your private and personal sphere. Therefore, we inform you below about the processing of your personal data, which we need to process your order.

We at Damien Company s.r.o. declare that we handle the personal data of our customers on the basis of legal regulations related to the protection of personal data. 1. When shopping and registering, you must provide the following list of personal data about yourself:

  • name and surname, exact address including country (or address to be stated on the invoice),
  • optional additional addresses (if you wish to deliver the shipment to a different address than the billing address),
  • e-mail address,
  • telephone number,
  • date of birth (optional),
  • your chosen password in case of registration.

In the case of a one-time purchase, registration is not necessary and it is possible to purchase without registration.

This personal data will be used exclusively for the purpose of processing your order and is also necessary for our accounting and billing system, where it will be stored for the period necessary according to the relevant law - for a period of 10 years based on the Accounting Act. The data is stored in a protected database on our server. After registration, you can change or update your data and other settings at any time via e-mail or after logging into your account. If you wish to cancel your registration, please ask us by e-mail. Your account will be deactivated.

We collect your personal data without consent to the extent necessary for the performance of a contract in which you are one of the contracting parties, or in pre-contractual relations with us pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. We do not provide this personal data to third parties, with the exception of organizations with which cooperation is necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing – these are shipping companies (DHL, Slovenská pošta, a.s.) – in the scope of name, surname, delivery address, telephone number, e-mail and, if necessary, the total price of the order.

When registering, it is necessary to provide the following list of personal data about you:

  • name and surname, exact address including country (or address to be listed as billing),
  • optional additional addresses (if you wish to deliver the shipment to an address other than the billing address),
  • e-mail address,
  • telephone number,
  • your chosen password.

As part of the pre-contractual measures and with the aim of concluding a purchase contract, we process your personal data for the purpose of your registration in the customer portal of our online store. By registering, you gain benefits - access to your purchase history, see the availability of goods in stock, and have an assigned salesperson.

If you wish to register, we need your consent. We process the personal data obtained for the purpose of registration pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You can give us your consent by checking the box "I want to register". Personal data will be processed in the customer portal for the necessary time, at least for the duration of your account on the customer portal. After registration, you can change or update your data and other settings at any time via e-mail or after logging into your account. If you wish to cancel your registration, please ask us to do so by e-mail. Your account will be deactivated.

Personal data may also be made available to recipients, based on contracts concluded in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. Damien Company s.r.o. uses only those who provide sufficient guarantees and have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Regulation and to ensure the protection of the rights of the data subject. The recipient may be: accounting system provider, server administrator, e-shop administrator, administrator of the connection between the accounting program and the e-shop, e-mail marketing company, collection company.

Data is not transferred to third countries.

What rights do you have in relation to the processing of personal data?

You have the right to contact us (shop@damien.sk) at any time and request information and access to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to:

  • correction of incorrect personal data and completion of incomplete personal data,
  • right to erasure of personal data,
  • right to restriction of processing of personal data,
  • right to object to processing of personal data,
  • right to accuracy of personal data,
  • right to object to profiling and automated decision-making,
  • right to notification obligation of the controller in connection with correction, deletion or restriction of processing of personal data.

Data protection

We take technical and organizational security measures to protect your data as widely as possible from unwanted access. In addition to securing the operating environment, we use, for example, an encryption method in some areas (account, registration form). The information you enter is then transmitted in encrypted form via the SSL protocol to prevent data misuse by third parties. Data protection will always be updated in accordance with the current state of technology and software.
